The issue

On certain vehicles, due to improperly applied grease, the driver's side power window master switch could stick or become inoperative. If attempts are made to lubricate the switch, the switch assembly could overheat and melt. A melting switch may produce smoke and potentially lead to a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the driver's power window master switch and apply a specialized grease that inhibits heat build-up, or replace the power window master switch circuit board, as necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, à cause de graisse mal appliquée, l'interrupteur principal de fenêtre à commande électrique du côté du conducteur pourrait se coincer ou cesser de fonctionner. Si l'on tentait de lubrifier l'interrupteur, il pourrait surchauffer et fondre. Un interrupteur qui fondrait pourrait produire de la fumée et causer un incendie endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter l'interrupteur principal de fenêtre à commande électrique du côté du conducteur et appliquer une graisse spéciale qui empêche l'accumulation de chaleur, ou remplacer la carte de circuits imprimés de l'interrupteur, le cas échéant.
