The issue

Issue: On certain motor coaches, the left-rear side window may not be properly attached. This could cause the window to separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: If the window separates, it could fall and become a hazard for road users and bystanders. This could create a risk of injury and/or a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners can choose to have the necessary parts and instructions sent to them to complete the repair themselves, or they can take their vehicle(s) to a dealer to inspect the window mounting. The window will be repaired or replaced as necessary and retaining clips will be installed. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2018-171. All vehicles require a new inspection and repair under this recall.

Problème : Sur certains autocars, la fenêtre latérale arrière-gauche pourrait ne pas être fixée adéquatement. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que la fenêtre se détache du véhicule. Risque pour la sécurité : Si la fenêtre se détachait, elle pourrait tomber et devenir un danger pour les usagers de la route et les personnes situées à proximité. Cela pourrait créer un risque de blessures ou causer un accident. Mesures correctives : L'entreprise avisera les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires peuvent choisir de recevoir les pièces et instructions nécessaires pour effectuer la réparation eux-mêmes ou d'apporter leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter la fixation de la fenêtre. La fenêtre sera réparée ou remplacée au besoin, et des étriers de retenue seront installés. Note : Le présent rappel remplace le rappel 2018-171. Tous les véhicules doivent être inspectés et réparés de nouveau dans le cadre du présent rappel.
