The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the electronic control center does not have proper circuit protection. As a result, its circuit board could be damaged by high voltage. If this happens, the circuit board may overheat. Safety Risk: An overheated circuit board could create the risk of fire. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to add additional over-current protection to the electronic control center.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le centre de commande électronique n'est pas doté d'une protection des circuits adéquate. Par conséquent, sa carte de circuits imprimés pourrait être endommagée par une tension élevée. Si cela se produit, la carte de circuits imprimés pourrait surchauffer. Risques pour la sécurité : Cette surchauffe pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Jayco avisera les propriétaires par la poste et leur demandera d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour ajouter une protection supplémentaire contre la surintensité au centre de commande électronique.
